I always had an interest in learning about other cultures. Their history, food, entertainment, religion. I couldn’t get enough of it. There is just so much in the world to explore and partake in. I wanted to experience as much of it as I could as often as I could.

A brief introduction. My name is Georgina and my passion for exploring started, as it does for a lot of people, with David Attenborough programmes. As a young child, I remember saying I was going to be an explorer just like him and travel to wild jungles, mountains and polar regions in search of exotic places and creatures. Of course as a grown up you realise you don't have the same budget as David but I've been very lucky and have made it to some unbelievably wild and exotic places and had my share of funny, emotional and ,on occasion, traumatic experiences, which I will to share in my blogs.
