Brought up in West Yorkshire, my parents and teachers helped me develop a love of literature. After school I joined the army, grew up fast and travelled throughout Europe. After the army, I undertook a long career in sales, maintaining a love of travel. Maturity has fuelled a new hunger of literature of a wide variety including The Classics, thrillers and biographies. I have written poetry and prose and I am in the midst of writing my first novel.
