2 Day London Itinerary: Ultimate Family Trip for First-Time Visitors
London is one of the world’s best family city breaks — full of history, green parks, and iconic landmarks. With two days, you can see the highlights while still keeping things fun and manageable for kids.
Day One: City Views and Riverside Icons
Start your morning at Puttshack, where you can enjoy a fun round of tech-driven mini golf before heading to the Sky Garden for sweeping views of London’s skyline. Walk along the River Thames towards Tower Bridge and cross over to explore Borough Market — one of the city’s best food hubs. Enjoy street food and soak in the lively atmosphere before dinner at Mango Indian, a family-friendly favourite near the market.
Day Two: London’s Famous Landmarks
Begin early with a ride on the London Eye for panoramic views of the Thames and Parliament. Then walk along Westminster Bridge to see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the classic red telephone booths. Continue to Westminster Abbey and stroll through St James’s Park to Buckingham Palace. If you time it right, you can even catch the Changing of the Guard.
For lunch, visit Victoria Market Hall before hopping on a double-decker bus — a must-do London experience for kids. End your day with dinner in Hammersmith and perhaps a concert or riverside walk.
With its easy transport, family-friendly attractions, and walkable neighbourhoods, London is an unforgettable city to explore together.
