Oudewater is a beautiful little city (not a town because they bought the rights to be a city a long time ago).
People born in Oudewater are called Yellowbellies, because some of them worked in a rope factory and yellow dust usually stuck on their bellies. It’s still possible to visit this museum. You can also visit another museum “De Heksenwaag” which is definitely very interesting to go to.
Other then that, I love eating ice cream from Roberto and sitting on the terrace for lunch and dinner at restaurant Lumière.
I also recommend taking a boat trip through the canals. The dock is at the ice cream place that I told you guys about. Enjoy! 🙂
