Hello! I'm Elaine Wilson and I've been writing my blog www.eccentricengland.co.uk for twelve years now and it's still going strong! I have also started to work as a freelance travel writer for other publications which I'm enjoying. I'm happy to be a part of the TrovenTrip community. I am passionate about the process of travelling and the way it opens up your perspective on the world and yourself! A brief introduction. My name is Georgina and my passion for exploring started, as it does for a lot of people, with David Attenborough programmes. As a young child, I remember saying I was going to be an explorer just like him and travel to wild jungles, mountains and polar regions in search of exotic places and creatures. Of course as a grown up you realise you don't have the same budget as David but I've been very lucky and have made it to some unbelievably wild and exotic places and had my share of funny, emotional and ,on occasion, traumatic experiences, which I will to share in my blogs.
