A Not So Dream Travel Day

5 cities, 4 countries, 1 day… sounds like a dream travel day! 🇩🇪🇳🇱🇫🇷🇬🇧

But delayed flights, missed connections, running through airports, aborted take-offs, emergency checks to landing gear and rough landings in the wind, rain and snow meant it was more of a nightmare!

Still, travel is an adventure and the day certainly felt like that! Not sure the photos are my most scenic though! 😂

Starting the day in Dusseldorf after having left Essen... there wasn't much of a view from my favoured window seat!

Despite the first delay, the first flight was almost like having a private jet!

Missed my connection in Amsterdam so change to itinerary... not quite the route home I had planned!

Sat at the gate for over an hour after an aborted take-off and the landing gear being checked out

Rushing through Charles de Gaulle airport, just enough time to stop for a pic!

The airport in Paris is one of the fanciest I've been to... shame my layer o etc was only 20 minutes rather than the scheduled 3 hours!

Finally some tea on the last leg of the journey to Manchester!
